Currently, we have 3 combat conditions collectively known as Stun
Dazed, Stun, and Stagger.
To me, especially when writing, thisĀ causes confusion, to the point where I want to try and explain which "Stun" I mean (i.e. Stun in general, to Stun in the specific condition.
Therefore, I am thinking that all 3 Conditions should be collectively referred to a Stun, and that the Specific condition called Stun should be renamed.
I am thinking renaming it to Shock. So we have Daze, Shock, and Stagger, and if you have one or more rounds of these, you are considered to be Stunned.
Thoughts? Comments? Alternate names for "Shock"?

D&D used Bloodied in 4E - d6 uses a scale of stunned , wounded, incapacitated etc
Would it be difficult to adjust the scale to Dazed, Staggered, Wounded or Battered?

Don't forget Wounds are something different from Suns (with Minor, Major, and Dire Wounds).
Stuns are part of secondary damage (along with bleeding and penalties (which stack with the penalties from Wounds).
right now, only the 2 lowest forms of Stun (Dazed & Shocked) are able to be acquired through normal Secondary Damage (Fate Points will allow for Staggered as well)
If you compare against another game we all used to play, the 3 levels of Stun are essentially akin to results of Must Parry, Stun, and Stun, No Parry. They are not the same by a long shot, but that is the closest comparison that I can think of.

If I were describe them as a GM I would say Dazed, Staggered, Stunned in that order.....not sure that helps. Anyone else?

And what term would you use to refer to all 3 collectively?

Maybe use Shocked as a collective term?

Concussed? Damaged? I dunno....

Yeah, I am trying to find words so that I do not refer to multiple things with the same term for example Stuns (the collective of 3 combat conditions), and Stuns (one specific combat condition), to reduce overall confusion.
Here are the 3 Combat Conditions with "shock" replacing the condition previously known as Stun.
- Daze - A Dazed foe is only able to perform a single Half Action and a single Snap Action.
- Shock - A Shocked foe is only able to perform a single Abort Action.
- Stagger - A Staggered foe is only able to perform a single Snap Action.
Suggestions for variations welcome

Ok, I have decided to go with Shaken instead of Shock.
So we have Dazed, Shaken, and Staggered as the 3 levels of Stun.

I like it

And I can already hear all the "Shaken, not Stirred" jokes it will elicit.. ROFL

we'll have to find a way to incorporate the 007 into the game somehow
