Title: Site was down
Post by: imported_Rasyr on January 02, 2011, 03:07:44 PM: The site was down for a little bit this morning because somebody attacked the server that this site was on.

Perhaps I am being a bit paranoid..... but why did the attack choose this particular server?

ICE site used to be hosted by Host Gator. Now, as far as I was able to tell, it is being hosted by some guy running a server out of his house, not by a professional company.

As for this site, I'd think it more likely that you were some collateral casualty. The people who host their site on a guys server in his basement don't look like the people who attack other peoples websites to me. And I doubt that this site here has gotten that wide-spread a recognition so quick.
