Title: Expanding Spells Poll for Novus - please come vote
Post by: imported_Rasyr on November 16, 2011, 12:48:01 PM
Okay, I am starting this poll to get feed back on how to expand the spells/spell lists for each school. I want to find out what everybody prefers from among the options listed. Please

I like casting options. I much prefer them to having multiple unrelated spells that perform the same function.

I vote for option 3. I think the casting options are a good improvement but OTOH, more spells would be appreciated. So if we can have some casting options along with some new spells, it will be great. Casting options come first IMO, as Libram Novus 1 already give rules to create as many spells as we may wish.
Option 4 is definitively not an option in my mind. Frankly, Rasyr, leaving things unchanged ? I am not even sure you are able to do that. (http:///bigwink.gif)

Strongly in favor of casting options. Provides additional options for spellcasters while not expanding the spell list exponentially.

Ok, the result is that I am going to add a couple of new spells to each School of Magic, making sure that they all have the same number.

I am ALSO going to be adding Casting Options to as many spells as possible as well.

Casting Options are ONLY going to be available to Adepts (thus a Fighter or Rogue who learns spells will NOT be allowed to use the Casting Options). I feel that this allows the Adepts to be special when it comes to spells, while still allowing non-Adepts the ability to learn some spells...
