Title: Who would want to play in a Novus Play By Post Game?

So, I have some experience running Play By Post games.  I think I've around 5-10 of them now (my memory is a bit fuzzy on the actual number).  Some of them were short-lived, and others have lasted for several years.

I've run 1 campaign using Novus set in the Midnight Setting, but that was using the playtest version of the rules, so this would be my first time running the full rules (if we get enough players).

Who would want to play?

Should I run the game here, or perhaps on Real Roleplaying to give Novus some exposure?

If you do want to play, what kind of setting would you be looking forward to playing in?

Any feedback would be good to hear.  What do you think?

I am really eager to give it a try !
As for the setting, whatever suits you. I will try to bring in one friend or if it's possible, depending of the size of the group you want.

Bringing a friend along for the ride would be fun.  I'll see how many responses we get before I do anything as maybe other people have feedback.

Yeah, I'm still looking for players.  We've gotten a slow start so you aren't behind or anything.  I still haven't gotten a character yet.  (http:///smile.gif)  Bebop on down to the PBP section of the forums and see what I have posted there.  If you have any questions just ask.

Except if Murphy decide to interfere, I will send my Shaman to you this evening. His main fields of skills are herbcraft and talking with spirit (not the more surprising for a shaman) plus some astral bolts to add more firepower.

We lost several of our players for this game, so if there are any other players out there that want to jump into the game let me know.  We are down to 2 players.  Go to the Play By Post section of these forums to find the Strangers In a Strange land game.  You can post in the OOC thread to discuss it or post here.

Hey- I just picked up the Novus system this week. I'm interested in trying this out- I'll be looking it over tonight at work, but it may likely be Monday before I can get something put together. Alternately, I would be fine picking up an abandoned character or run a pre-gen for something you want to toss into there to test. I only have the core book though- so nothing to fancy.

First -- Welcome to the forums, and thanks for buying Novus, I hope that you will enjoy it!

Second, I don't think that Tim would mind you joining, but as the GM he does have the final word. In the meantime, look at the threads in the "Strangers in a Strange Land" forum, as there are threads in there that discuss character creation for his game.

And if you have any questions regarding Novus, please, do not hesitate to ask!

Sure you can join.  (http:///smile.gif)   Like all PBP games it tends to go through slow periods and very slow periods, hehe.  We lost some players so the more the merrier.  I've been introducing new characters in via portals so it won't be hard to DROP you into the game... literally.
