Thanks Rasyr,

I have yet to read through the PDF as I don't have a computer at home right now. So I'll have to read it in small bits when I can get to the library. So I wasn't sure if they were included as it wasn't mentioned in the brief description on the main page discussing Novus's combat.

I don't see a new RM coming out unless the guys at ICE get their shit together. I doubt I'll play a new version as I'm happy with RM2/C & RMx. Unless it keeps what I like about RM2/C/X but can make it abit smoother getting magic lists or spells I'll not play it. I'd rather give Novus a try or use Castle & Crusades or Pathfinder RPG (with tweeks) , a retro-clone or RMx as a GM or player.

At it's core it's fairly easy to run but it's up to the GM to limit what goes in or it becomes unmanagible.

Haven't played it or GURPS , too many options . I'd prefer to play Heroes Unlimited as I'm really familiar with RIFTS & Palladium Fantasy (both editions).

General Discussion / What are you currently reading?

Last novel I completed was Seal of Karga Kull... it was ok for a generic D&D 4e based novel. Tried to read Mark of Nerath , another 4e D&D novel. It was better than Seal but I got sick of the constant switching between groups of characters. Now I'm reading Stray a Urban Fantasy about werecats. Pretty good so far, been digging them (Urban Fantasies) a lot lately. I recommend Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson & Alpha Omega series. Been going through a novel reading drought the last few months , been mainly reading GNs & books on Judaism.

Are there going to be any monks or other kind of Martial Artist type class in Novus ? If so , wil they be in the main book or as a supplement ? How will
martial arts be handled in Novus ?
