There you will find some new characters!


First, an errata for Qusu. I gave her too many starting CP.

Lala, level 1
Female Human Warrior Mage from a modified urban lower class background. She is stoic, talks little, and like to burn things.

Silini, level 1
Female half-elf/half-human, Dual mage (divine and high magic) from a modified urban lower class background. Her talents are useful for traders as she can speak many languages.

T'Mani, level 1
Male Gnome Monk from a shallow warrens modified background. He was raised and trained in a lone monastery high atop the mountains.

X' Hul, level 1
Female half-orc Shaman from a nomad background. Even when she was young, she had a kind of "grand-ma" attitude towards her kind. People rely on her for her wise advices.

I personally like to expand upon what is available for the characters, so LN 2, 4, and 9 are my favorites as they add new classes. LN 10 is a great one too with the Alchemy rules.

As I was entering the stat bonuses in Excel, I saw maybe some typos, all related to Aesyrs. Maybe, Tim, you will want to have a look at it?

I think that the sum of the Special Abilities should be 21, not 20.

Stat Modifiers (0): +2 Con, -1 Spd, -1 Spd, +2 Str



I think that one of the Spd stat modifier should be a Dex modifier instead.


On a side note, thanks for designing Gnomes and Lizardmen!

So, when raising up in levels, you will want to decrease the TN instead of raising the stat? Is it how it works?

I think characters are limited to 5 AP anyway... unless a combat move says otherwise. Ok, forget what I said. I second a ruling about limiting the number of AP spent on Well Aimed Shot.

That's not much, I mean I had to actually look for the typos, it's not as if they "jumped" to my eyes. Anyway, about the ideas presented in this thread, I find them very interesting. Maybe they could be a part of a future Libram Novus? This way they could get some more general playtesting. I like the idea of "independant skills" and merging the Lore subskills with their appropriate skill(s).  I think that Lore would still be needed, like for obscure or History knowledge.
