In looking up the Talents,
Weapons Training I and
Weapons Training II today, I noticed that their descriptions were identical and so here are the corrected descriptions
Weapons Training ICost: 2
Trainable: No
Description: Similar to the Related Skill Bonus (RSB, p. xx), this grants a +1 Non-Proficiency Bonus (NPB) for every 5 ranks (or portion thereof) that the character has in his best melee skill. Unlike the RSB, this has a maximum of +5, and in addition to be used for Combat Skills where the character has no ranks at all, it is also added to the character's overall Defensive Threshold.
Weapons Training IICost: 3
Trainable: No
Description: This is just like Weapons Training I, except that the bonus is +1 for every 3 ranks that the character has in his best melee skill. It still cannot grant more than a +5 bonus in total.
So, the actual benefits of the Talents (which are the basis of many Training Paths) are as follows:
Weapons Training I- increase max benifit from +3 to +5
- allow benefit to be used with Defensive Threshold
Weapons Training II- as Weapon Training I
- benefit is +1 for every 3 ranks, instead of every 5
