Some things in the works...

Okay, so we are version 0.3 of the Open Beta, and I think that the majority of the larger changes have all been accomplished, and that the only thing left is likely to be small tweaks and fixes (and lots of prayers to the great god, Murphy, to please let nothing go wrong...)

We have released the first supplement, Libram Novus #1, which contains the Spell Creation rules. It also contains information on how to use those rules for both modifying spells at the time of casting and for creating and casting spells on the fly (Improv casting).

I am working on Libram Novus #2 which will contain at least a Sorcerer class and Shaman class.

I am also working on a small adventure for Novus (the adventure is not new, but it needs a good bit of reworking before I can release it for Novus).

I am also working on the item creation rules (skill based item creation rules).

And last, but not least, I am also working on a new setting for Novus. I will start a new thread for that in the next couple of days. The setting is called Tyrlon (or I might name the city Tyrlon....).

Those are the things I am working on for the immediate future.

For Libram Novus #2, I have decided to also include a Warlock class. He will be a Major Adept of Black Magic. This means that he already has spells in the core rules. However, I will add about half a dozen new Black Magic spells (including Demon/Devil summoning) to go along with what is in the core rules.

In the core rules, I gave the Black Magic School so that players or GMs could use the talents also found there to create characters who were a bit darker (i.e. hybrid Druid/Black Magician or Wizard/Black Magician, etc...

The Warlock allows for a full on nasty guy.

The Shaman and the Sorcerer will also be present. The Shaman deals with the Spirit World, and I have given a basic primer on the planes to aid in understanding the planar cosmology of the core rules of  Novus. Have not decided yet, but I may also include some more information about the spirit world and/or various types of non-corporeal spirits.

The Sorcerer deals more with raw power, using force in unsubtle ways. His spells are unlikely to be subtle or as nuanced as the spells from some other schools of magic.

Nice all round!
I'm especially happy about the adventure and the setting plans.
