What is
Wonderdraft? It is a map-making program created by fellow that goes by the name of Megasploot.
I recently visited the website of a friend of mine. His campaign setting is known as
Mythosa, and I have always found it to be an interesting setting. And recently, he had purchased Wonderdraft andredone his world map using it, and I loved how it had turned out, so I hit YouTube and started watching videos and tutorials about it as well. And last week, I purchased it myself.
Now, granted, I have only had this program for about a week at this point, and so please take that into consideration. But, I have done up Wonderdraft versions of my Tyrlon map, and of Sylvari Tor, the town where adventuring in Tyrlon would start off. So let me go ahead and display what I have done so far. Please keep in mind that both of these are Works in Progress (WIP).
Tyrlon - I used the original map as my basis, so there are not a whole lot of changes over all.
And then next, we have our city map.
Sylvari Tor - Now, this is an outpost city in untamed wilderness, and there are quite a few predators in the region. So, on the western side, you have fenced in pasture land for various herd beasts, and a huge barn for them. There is a road around the outside for patrols to watch for predators (I may add a guard tower or two as well). There is farmland within the city as well. The city does not produce all it needs, it imports a lot from the main settlements of Tyrlon,
