I have a number of Favorite TV shows that I like to watch. Unfortunately, right now, most of them are on a summer hiatus.
The a couple shows that I am watching every week, right now, are:
- Covert Affairs - Piper Perabo as a young CIA agent. It is actually in its second season, and is very good in my opinion.
- Teen Wolf - This is a tv show based on the Micheal J Fox movie from 20 years ago. Of course, it has been re-imagined, so only the names of the two main characters (Scott and Styles) remain the same, but still a good take on werewolves.
- Falling Skies - This show just started, but I am liking it. It is sort of like the movie, Red Dawn, but with aliens instead of Russians.
During the fall season, there are a number of shows that I watch....

- Castle - Nathan Fillion as a writer tailing a cop who is the inspiration for his latest set of books. Very, very, very good show. The pilot was great and it has only been getting better since then.
- Doctor Who - Matt Smith is amazing. He is so young, but also at times looks so old. His many layered dialogue, often with himself as his mind careens from one topic to another, is fantastic. I am also a huge fan of the original series, and while I wish the show was a little more like that, this show is excellent in and of itself.
- NCIS -- an excellent show all around!
- Body of Proof - Dana Delaney as a former neurosurgeon who first loses her daughter (through divorce) due to her career and then loses her career (car accident and then losing a patient apparently) who has become a medical examiner. As a surgeon, she was more interested in the procedures than in the patients, but as a medical examiner, she has dedicated herself to telling the stories of the dead, to finding their killers.
- The Mentalist - Very good show about a former fake psychic who helps solves crimes because a serial killer killed his family after he kinda talked bad about him on live tv.
There are a number of other shows that I watch as well, though not with as much dedication as those I listed above. These include NCIS: Los Angales, Fringe, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Smallville (before it ended), House, Lie to Me, Sherlock (british tv) and one or two others....
If I had to pick my two favorite shows, they would be Castle and Doctor Who (and it would be a toss up as to which was my absolute favorite...[/list]
