I noticed looking at the Dual Mage that it shows him as having 3 unallocated Favored skills but the build notes show him as having only two.

The dual Mage has an additional favored skills from his extra school of magic talent, hence a total of 8 favored skills. This point his not mentioned in LN3.

Makes sense, I will have to check the Semi-Adepts and see if the same thing is going on with them as well.

Yeah, my bad there, forgetting to mention how "Extra School of Magic" gives a character an extra Favored skill in the build notes. Sorry about the confusion...
