For those of you visting the site, I am sure that you have noticed a few changes. And I thought that I would take a minute tell you about them.
First of all, the old SMF forums are gone. There was some sort of issue which caused them to stop working. At first, I thought it was a database crash. But it was not, somehow there was a problem in the connection to the database. It may have started when I updated teh version of PHP on my host, which was required for another site I am setting up (I also make jewelry and am slowly working on setting up a site for that --- [html} <a title="Adhoc Artisan" href="

Anyways, I was able to install some forums into my WordPress site here and it allowed me to import the SMF database, so I have recovered all those previous posts. All the registered users are now registered on the WordPress site. Your passwords should be the same (and still encrypted), but you may need to reset the passwords (not sure if the system makes you do it or not). I would recommend updating your password to be on the safe side.
Also, some fo the features on the new forums were not working properly. Turns out that there were issues with the theme I had been using with the site. I have had that theme for nearly a decade (if not longer) and it had a lot of customizations in it. I found another theme, one that the forums work fully with, that allowed me to customize it to something approximating what I had before. So I changed the themes and customized it. And last night I went ahead and updated the logo as well. I hope you like it
I am hoping to be done updating the spells for Novus 2.0 later today (Sunday, September 6th) so that I can then start pagemaking the next version of the beta for the playtesters and work on getting the public beta pagemade for release.
