« on: November 12, 2010, 03:27:46 PM »
Below is a list of IRC-like commands that any Flashchat user may utilize:

• /away - Sets user as away. Typing this command again sets user as "here".
• /here - Sets user as here. This reverses the "away" and "busy" states.
• /busy - Sets user as busy. Typing this command again sets user as "here".
• /back - Shows the last entries of the room's chat, including any chat text that was present before arrival to the room.
• /backtime - Shows the last minutes of the room's chat, including any chat text that was present before arrival to the room.
• /clear - Clears the chat screen. This only affects your screen, not the screen of other users.
• /me - Issues an IRC-like "action" to the chat. "/me" will be changed to your user name, and the text in will appear as a system message. For example: "/me is thinking" would translate to "Joe is thinking".
• /join - Switches the user to . For example: "/join The Lounge"
• /part - Logout of the chat.
• /quit - Logout of the chat.
• /logout - Logout of the chat.
• /version - Shows which version of the chat you are using.
• /invite - Invites "user" to the room that you are currently in.
• /ignore - Ignores "user" until /unignore "user" is issued
• /? - Display a list of currently available IRC commands.
• /helpall - Display a list of all available IRC commands.
• /whowas - This only works when FlashChat is used in a registered-users manner (not the "free for all" chat mode). Shows profile page for any registered user.
• /whois - Same as /whowas, but the user must be logged in.
• /motd - Displays the message of the day, as defined in /appdata/motd.txt
• /sos - Alerts moderator in the current room of your message. Message text is optional.
• /names - Shows a list of all user names in all public rooms.

The Flashchat has a couple of custom commands that I have setup and that can be used as well.

• /smack - This works like the "/me" above, but the text of the action is specific to this action.

• /slap - This works like the "/me" above, but the text of the action is specific to this action.

• /shock - This works like the "/me" above, but the text of the action is specific to this action.

• /burn - This works like the "/me" above, but the text of the action is specific to this action.

• /d   - Rolls dice. Dice command is /d [[n]D]s[X#|+#|-#|/#]. "n" is number of dice
• n : number of dice to be rolled
• d : this stands for dice, and is required to be included.
• s : number of sides on the dice to be rolled
• x or * : multiplies the result by the number that follows this operator
• + : adds the number that follows this operator to the total
• - : subtracts the number that follows this operator from the total
• / : divides the total by the number that follows this operator
Example: /d 3d6+7 will return something that looks like: rolls 3d6: 4+4+1+7 = 16
Note: Math operations are performed in the order that they are listed.

[/li]

Okay, I now have the chat room dice roller working properly for Novus dice rolls. It will now automatically explode or implode the dice accordingly, and even tell you if you generate a Nova Roll. The rules for using it are below:

/roll - Rolls 2d10 explosive/implosive. May include multiple modifiers just as with above.

• x or * : multiplies the result by the number that follows this operator
• + : adds the number that follows this operator to the total
• - : subtracts the number that follows this operator from the total
• / : divides the total by the number that follows this operator
Note: Math operations are performed in the order that they are listed.
Just wanted to let you know that the dice roller in the chat room now breaks out each explosion and implosion separately (it used to just lump them together).

Here is a screenshot -- I am currently in the chat room playing with it .... [attachment
