Novus semi-wiki?

Okay, I have just posted a Developer's Blog post regarding this idea --  http://www.firehawkgames.biz/?p=788 -- so go read it, and then come back here.

This thread is for everybody to give me their thoughts and comments on the ideas I expounded in that blog post.

So has anybody have any comments regarding the idea of creating what amounts to a semi-wiki? Or should I consider actually doing a full wiki (I could easily install and run a copy of mediawiki which requires users to be registered here on the forums...)

Opinions definitely wanted...

I purchased the product after browsing the TOC and available sections on the semi-wiki. So having it available did influence my purchasing decision.

It could be useful for online browsing but even on a high bandwith connection I notice enough delays to make it less than appealing for me to use during a game. But it is fine for casual browsing while online if i need to maybe check something and i don't have the NOVUS book handy.

A user wiki would be nice too  - where folks could add bits of information about house rules, tables, classes etc.  But I'd imagine controlling that sort of thing would be a logistical nightmare.

I have started adding a bit more to sections of the TOC online, allowing for more information to be shown...

What I am potentially leery of is possibly putting too much information on there - that is part of why I didn't list the specific stats for the Combat Skills on that page. I don't want to completely obviate the need for the actual product.
