No, no. I am speakin 8)g specifically about using combat boons when dodging. That is, you roll your save vs Dex or Acrobatics and then, if you get one or more boon points, you use comabt boons rather than skill boons.
The normal result when you dodge is a bonus of 5+1 for every 3 points above the TN. I propose that if the roll is high enough (10 points above the TN), you earn 1 boon point to use on the combat boons table.
The restriction on damage increasing boons follow this logic: you don't add to your damage without rolling for attack. So if you makes a high dodge roll, you can choose "maneuver" boons (combat shuffle...) but no damage increasing boon (skilled attak...). To make higher damage, you should gain combat boons from your attack roll, as currently written. A good dodge allows you to increase your initiative, maybe gain a positional advantage... but no additional damage.
