Hi Tim just wondering if there is any chance of a full blown magic supplement in the works?

Two of my fave books are Spell Law and GURPS Magic so something along thoses lines would be awesome!

Eventually. But it will mostly be material from a few of the Libram Novus PDFs mixed with some new material (such as the full alchemy system for Novus).

However, before I can work on that, I need to finish Tyrlon and get that out.

In fact, I just created a bundle package containing all 6 issues for $11.00 (this may increase slightly once the current sale expires...)

Well was a bit gutted that there is no Novus version of Spell Law anytime soon but bought the Libram stuff anyhow.

So will i be able to make magic based on Elements (Earth, Fire etc) with the spell creation rules?

Yes. The spell creation rules results based, not based on the special effects, so you can easily craft the physical description to suit yourself. Take a look at the various Bolt spells (Infernal Bolt, Divine Bolt, Conjure Missiles, Mystic Bolt, Eldritch Fire, & Elemental Bolt). They are all based on the same basic Spell Base, with their descriptions customized to suit the School of Magic and what I saw as how those spells should work.

Basically, what you will want to do is to decide upon what powers/abilities are available to each element, and then create the spells accordingly. Similar to what I am doing for the Harn conversion (very, very, very slowly, but still...).

Reading through, it seems like creating the various Elemental lists would be fairly easy.

Incidentally, for those wanting more re: magic, the Libram Novus bundle deal we have over at theRPGsite today might scratch that itch:
