OK so lets test out a couple of combat scenarios for Wraedickk to acquaint ourselves with the dice rolling in the context of the character and a few scenarios.
In a normal game situation this would all be managed in the OOC thread whilst the narrative of the fighting etc would be managed in the IC thread.
So lets give it a go.
Scenario:
Wraedickk finds himself walking along a road in the countryside on a nice clear day. He comes to a bridge over a river and crosses it. But when he is part way across the bridge a bandit emerges from behind some rocks on the other side and blocks his way. He has a crossbow levelled at Wraedickk and a sword at his side (sheathed). He is wearing leather armour. The bridge is about 30m (90ft) across (bank to bank) and Wraedickk made it halfway.
Making a Perception roll for Wraedickk with a target number (TN ) of 15.

The bandit calls for you to surrender and keeps his crossbow levelled at you waiting to see your response. [Holding his action at a cost of 1AP]
(of course if you surrendered it would of course make the combat test rather boring
)

Nelrim walking by on the path behind the Bandit also makes a perception role with a TN of 15
